How Should I Prepare for My Treatment?
During your one-on-one consultation, we will take the time to discuss the procedure to make sure you’re comfortable. If our hair reduction treatment is proper for you, we ask you to shave the entire treatment area before your appointment. However, refrain from tweezing or using wax at least two weeks before and in between treatments as these approaches can irritate the skin and cause complications. When you come in for your consultation, please let us know if you have any medical conditions, including herpes, lupus, melanoma, keloids, psoriasis, and pigmentary problems. Additionally, let us know if you are currently on any medications.
What Results Can I Expect With Forever Bare™?
Forever Bare™ is a non-invasive laser treatment for removing unwanted hair, targeting hair follicles to remove hair safely and comfortably. All skin types can be treated using this innovative therapy. The beam of light is effective on hair during its growth stage and works well on ingrown hairs. We can adjust your treatment regimen to optimize results and meet your goals. If you have sensitive skin, a topical anesthetic cream can be used. During the procedure, the area treated will be scanned by laser light. The length of each session will depend on the size of the region to be covered. You can experience hair particle shedding after about 5-21 days following your laser hair reduction treatment. At first, it may initially seem like hair continues to grow, but this is the treated hair pushing its way out of the follicle.
Following treatment, much of the hair will wipe off easily, leaving smoother, softer skin. You may notice some slight swelling and redness, but these should subside within a few hours.
